Meet Savannah
Savannah is a Latinx, Queer artist & creator specializing in visual design, illustration &  creative direction. She has extensive experience in campaign design, social media graphics, illustration & brand building.
After spending 5+ years learning and growing in the corporate design world, they  opened Wild Rice Collective, their very own creative studio. Committing to the growth of her first small business opened many doors to work with with local, like-minded folks.
Savannah believes that being a creative is not separate from tending to the body & helping others feel better in theirs. In more recent years, she has become an Āyurvedic Health Counselor: sharing the ancient health science of India as well as a Pelvic Steam Facilitator: sharing the ancestral & sacred practices of Mayan Abdominal Womb Healers. When Savannah isn't behind a computer, you can find her on a road trip with her wife & 3 dogs, cooking up a delicious meal, gazing at the moon or tending to her garden.
Behind the name
Texas Wild Rice, Zizania Texana, is an endangered species that dances only in the upper San Marcos River. Each time Savannah spent time with the sacred plant, the more it became her muse. The Wild Rice &  San Marcos River in particular have been vital in fueling and recharging her in times of need, keeping her creative juices flowing as the water always will.
